Research interests<\/h3>\n

Bio<\/h3>\n

I graduated from the French \u00c9cole Polytechnique<\/a> in 1995 and I hold a Masters in AI from the University of Paris VI<\/a>.\u00a0 I received the PhD in computer science and natural language processing from LIMSI-CNRS<\/a>, University of Paris XI<\/a> in 1999.\u00a0 I have been a postdoc at UCSD<\/a> and a senior research assistant at ISSCO<\/a>, University of Geneva<\/a>.\u00a0 From 2007 to 2017, I was a senior researcher at the Idiap Research Institute<\/a>, head of Idiap’s NLP group, and a lecturer at EPFL<\/a>. I became a professor at HEIG-VD \/ HES-SO in 2017, teaching a variety of courses in computer science and natural language processing, along with continuing R&D in NLP.\u00a0 In 2021, I was nominated as adjunct faculty (senior scientist<\/a>) in the Electrical Engineering Doctoral School at EPFL.<\/p>\n
